Guitar Hero II does affect people!

When I play guitar I prefer to play riffs and chords and have done that for a long time. Advanced techniques for solos and such have never really interested me. I’m a greater fan of making whole songs I like. Now, I work at a place where I get to play Gutiar Hero 2 every now and then. After three weeks I am slowly begining to se the joy in playing melodies instead of chords.

So now we know it’s true – video games DO affect people!

Slow progress is still progress

Yesterday I finally discovered what I can do to gain control over my computer again. It has been standing in the last functioning position for weeks which – together with love and the fact that I’ve been working 24-7 – is the reason why not much has happened here. The solution seems to have something to do with my dvd drive. Depending on if it is ejected, I push it in or just have it closed the computer decides if it wants to boot or not. I’m gonna call Dell on monday (my first free week day in weeks!) and see if they have a permanent solution to all this. And then hopefully the creativity will overflow and I will write here more often.
